First mention is of one Cecilia abbess of S. Salvatore in 1004. Next is charter of 1025 called SS. ad Duos Amantes . By 1082 the monastery was already united with that of S. Ciriaco e Nicola: on 12 May that year a priest Biagio offers himself to church S. Salvatore and to monastery S. Ciriaco e Nicola, where Miccina is abbess, requesting usufruct of his possessions.
